Springsteen throughout the years. 1972-Present

This photo shows the original E. Street Band. Members from Left to Right. Clarence Clemons, Bruce Springsteen, David Sancious, Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez, Danny Federicci, Gary Tallent. Lopez was the original drummer and Sancious was a piano player. It has been said that David Sancious' piano playing was the best the band has seen in its forty year existence. Photo is from 1972.

This photo is from Springsteen’s second album, "The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle". Still struggling to make mainstream success, Springsteen’s lyrics captivated America in 1973 when it was released, despite only selling 25,000 albums that year. For anyone who ever wants to listen to it, the album tells one long story track after track about love, and a journey through New York City and New Jersey.

The picture on the left is Springsteen before the release of one of the most memorable albums ever written, "Born to Run". Springsteen was apart of many small concerts and clubs before the albums release sampling different versions of his music to determine what lyrics worked right and the most popular songs. This picture was taken in front of the Main Point club in Bryn Mayr, PA. A small club in which Springsteen was always a known visitor.

The picture on the right is from the Darkness on the Edge of Town album. In 1978, it was his latest album since the Born to Run release. After having a contract dispute with manager Mike Appel, the band was dormant until this album three years after Born to Run's release.

It wouldn’t be until 1984 when Bruce Springsteen would experience the biggest success of his career with the release of Born in the USA and the concerts that followed. His continuing songs about hard working American's and love was what captivated the hearts of America and his worked out arms was a jealousy on a lot of men's minds.

Springsteen continues today to entertain millions with his unique style and American prodigy. He has released 11 albums since 1984 with most of them being great hits. He experienced a slight struggle during the 2000's with popularity but his latest album Wrecking Ball has proved that the Boss still has what it takes to be a rocker.
